MAYOR WAYDE ROWSELL

Mayor sees 2007 as a bright renewal

MESSAGE FROM HIS WORSHIP
MAYOR WAYDE ROWSELL

I'm honored to join with members of the St.Lawrence Town Council , our municipal staff and every citizens of St.Lawrence as we extend a cordial welcome and every best wish to each of you who visit this special site - indeed , we acknowledge with gratitude the resourcefulness and community largesse expressly demonstrated by the author of www.discoverstlawrence.com

Two of the best labels that adequately describe the Town of St.Lawrence are our competitive spirit and quintessence of generosity . It goes without saying , all of us " love the grand old game of soccer " to the extent , it has shaped our physical culture and contributed immensely to the life story of the Town of St.Lawrence . It's not difficult to tell  the distance we have traveled during our soccer journey by the trail of excellence we have left behind measured in regional , provincial and national citations and championships .

The history and common heritage expressly demonstrated by every 'Laurentian" perpetuate so many noble traits - respect , kindness , humility , good will - to list a few  , it is these character traits that have placed St.Lawrence on the front pages of national and world news .

With certainty , it is the benevolence and tenacity of spirit of the early pioneers of our community and successive generations , over the years , that have contributed greatly towards the sustenance of our community , in doing so , you have shown in a dignified manner the generous heart of your community .

Through your personal contribution and largesse , in many disciplines and locations , you continue to build upon your legacy of success that is truly a source of inspiration for all Laurentians - to this end , you have captured the tacit admiration of your community . We extend,

Every Best Wish,

Wayde Rowsell
