Suspect to be
Charged in School Fire

RCMP have
charged someone with burning down an old school in
St.Lawrence. The former Marion Elementary all but burned
to the ground Friday in a fire which saw a nearby
apartment complex evacuated. RCMP on the Burin Peninsula
have charged a man with setting fire to the vacant school.
Police say they have a witness. Meanwhile, the fire
commissioner's office is on its way to the scene to help
wrap up the investigation. |
