Recently we discovered
through research with the National Archives and Records
Administration , Washington and the Judge Advocates
General , Department of the Navy ,Washington that 50 of
the unindentified sailors of the USS Truxtun and USS
Pollux are interned at the Long Island National Cemetery,
East Farmingdale , NY . This was always a question mark of
many many visitors . |
