Cape
Chapeau Rouge is the most remarkable cape in all
Newfoundland - an immense heap of ragged craggy rocks,
placed one upon the other. Viewed from the sea, every
fathom of your move gives it a new shape. The most
striking appearance is when fog is hovering over it. It
appears like a Dutchman without legs, a hat, a Lion
Rampant, a bust, a broken turret and lastly a broken,
irregular craggy mountain.
Trail Length: 4km

stands tall guarding the entrance of the harbor.
